Zambiandoctors.com has undergone changes over the years from a site intended to be all about Zambian Doctors in their multifaceted lives, to one that deals more and more with Zambian medical issues and information.

It all started as a simple site by the Late Dr Terry Kape, based on the concept of a site for Zambian doctors, for the purpose of sharing ideas, exchanging information and their continued medical education. Since then, it has gone on to include information about Zambian health institutions, about Zambian doctors, about Zambian and international health news and still maintains the aspect of medical eduction through the newly created blog.

We'll always pay tribute to the Late Dr Terry Kape for his inspiration in creating ZambianDoctors.com.

He appreciated the fact that our dynamic careers meant that we are all in different places and different times - be it rural or urban Zambia, abroad or indeed different workplaces within the same town. But at the same time in this modern world, we are actually only a keystroke away from each other.

He therefore designed this site with a view that it would allow us to do just that - enable us to share ideas and exchange information as well as allow for better interaction with each other at all times.

And despite his deteriorating health, he still had the time, the energy and the inspiration to keep the website going, not for himself but for the sake of each and everyone of us so that through this site and others such as the 'Ridgeway Group', we may interact academically and socially wherever we are and contribute towards the greater good of Zambian Medicine.

He is survived by a loving wife Priscilla and a beautiful daughter Chileshe

May Terry's Soul rest in eternal peace but may his dream live on!
